Peak Times (defunct)
The span itemprop=”name”>Peak Times was a span itemprop=”description”>weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for Matlock, Bakewell, Hope Valley and villages in the Derbyshire Dales in the Peak District.
It was published by the Derbyshire Times Group (Wilfred Edmunds Ltd), part of the span itemprop=”branchOf”>Johnston Press group of regional newspaper publishers. It was a companion to their paid-for title the Matlock Mercury, with which it shared editorial offices.
It came out on Fridays.
It was replaced by the Buxton-based Peak Courier in 2009.
