Romford Gazette

The Romford Gazette is a weekly tabloid newspaper distributed free via pickup points in the town of Romford in the London Borough of Havering in north-eastern Outer London.

It was launched in April 2012 and is a sub-edition of the Brentwood Gazette series of newspapers published by the Essex Chronicle Media Group (part of Northcliffe Media, formerly the local newspaper division of the Daily Mail & General Trust> but absorbed into the new Local World media group at the end of 2012) and sold on the Essex/Greater London boundary. However, it differs from its stablemates in being entirely freesheet, whereas the others are all entirely paid-for.

The series’s editorial offices are in Chelmsford. The Romford Gazette has no website of its own; the link below is to the Brentwood Gazette‘s site.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
