Your Sandwich (defunct)

Your Sandwich was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Sandwich and the nearby village of Ash in eastern Kent.

It was launched in 2009 as a companion to the Your Dover and Your Deal titles covering those two nearby towns. It was published by Ashford-based KOS Media, who also publish the Kent on Sunday and Kent on Saturday weeklies for the whole of the county of Kent.

In June 2010 the Norwich-based Archant group acquired KOS Media outright, having had a minority shareholding since 2005.

It closed at the end of November 2010 – although the website continued in operation – but was revived again two months later as a digital-only newspaper, having previously also been delivered direct to households and distributed through pickup points.

It came out on Wednesdays. The final issue was published on 1 September 2012.
