Queensferry Gazette

The Queensferry Gazette is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of South Queensferry on the Firth of Forth, at the southern end of the Forth bridges just west of Edinburgh.

It was launched in 1998 as a new addition to a much older series of three newspapers for Linlithgowshire (or West Lothian, as the council area’s formally known), together with the Linlithgow Gazette and the Bo’ness Journal; the Queensferry Gazette has by far the smallest circulation of the three.

The publishers are Johnston (Falkirk) Ltd, part of the Edinburgh-based Johnston Press empire.

All three titles share the same website (to which the URL below redirects). They also shared the same offices in Linlithgow until 2013, but they’ve now been relocated to Grangemouth, where they share with The Falkirk Herald.

It comes out on Fridays.
