Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Advertiser (defunct)

The Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Advertiser was a weekly freesheet tabloid for the towns of Cumbernauld and Kilsyth in the North Lanarkshire council area.

Originally entitled the Cumbernauld Advertiser, it was established in 1990 by Johnston (Falkirk), the original company behind the Johnston Press UK-wide group of regional newspaper publishers, as a companion to its paid-for titles for the area, the Cumbernauld News and the Kilsyth Chronicle. It added Kilsyth to the title in 1992.

The editorial offices were in Cumbernauld.

It had no website of its own; the link below is to the News‘s website.

It came out on Fridays. It appears to have ceased publication in late 2010.
