Wrexham Chronicle (defunct)

The Wrexham Chronicle was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the town of Wrexham (Wrecsam) and surrounding parts of North East Wales to a radius of about eight miles, including the neighbouring town of Rhosllanerchrugog and several smaller villages.

It was launched by Trinity Mirror North West and North Wales in July 2008 to replace the Wrexham Mail and the Wrexham BuySell. However, it lasted for only 15 months before being closed as a cost-cutting measure on 1 October 2009.

After the Chronicle‘s demise, the URL below initially redirected to an archive for the Chronicle and the earlier Mail on the Chester Chronicle‘s website. It now redirects to the Daily Post‘s page for Wrexham.
