Swanley & Dartford Chronicle (defunct)

The Swanley & Dartford Chronicle was a monthly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed through the news trade, direct to homes and through supermarkets in the towns of Swanley at the northern end of the Sevenoaks District in North West Kent and Dartford in the Borough of that name, also in Kent.

It was published by Sidcup-based Stone Leisure Ltd as part of a Bexley Chronicle series of monthly freesheets founded in 2006 for the London Borough of Bexley and bordering parts of Kent. All the titles in the series shared the same website and were published from the same offices in Sidcup.

It had no connection with an earlier Dartford & Swanley Chronicle, which was absorbed into the Dartford Times in 1985.

It was also available free online as an e-edition.

The Chronicle series ceased publication in September 2012. Archived editions going back to 2007 remain online for now.
