Ulster Gazette
The Ulster Gazette is a weekly tabloid newspaper based in Armagh city and sold in the district of that name – it claims to have “the largest readership in Armagh City and District” – as well as in Portadown and the Borough of Craigavon, the Districts of Dungannon and Newry, and parts of Co. Monaghan across the border with the Republic.
It was founded in 1844. It’s published by Ulster Gazette (Armagh) Ltd, part of the Alpha Newspaper Group. The main editorial office is in Armagh, with a sub-office in Portadown.
Its full title is the Ulster Gazette and Armagh Standard.
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available by paid subscription.
