Kent & Sussex Courier Tunbridge Wells (defunct)

The Kent & Sussex Courier Tunbridge Wells (formerly the Tunbridge Wells Courier) was a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the West Kent town of Royal Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area.

It was owned and published by the Courier Media Group Ltd, based in the town, as part of their Kent & Sussex Courier series. It was the title with the largest circulation in the series. Courier Media Group is part of Northcliffe Media, which was the regional newspaper division of the Daily Mail & General Trust but was hived off at the end of December 2012 to form the new Local World media group.

In 2011 it underwent a website revamp (and a change of URL) as part of Northcliffe’s more general strategy of differentiating their local websites from their local newspapers.

It came out on Fridays. A paid-for e-edition was available, but appears to have been dropped with the change of website.

It’s now been fully absorbed into the main series as a local edition.
