Chepstow Beacon

The Chepstow Beacon is a
weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Chepstow and more widely around eastern Monmouthshire.

It was launched in April 2013 as a replacement for the Chepstow and Caldicot News. It’s a sub-edition of the Monmouthshire Beacon published by by Farnham Castle Newspapers, part of the Tindle Newspapers group. It shares its parent newspaper’s editorial offices in Monmouth, but has its own website.

Initially it had a freesheet companion: the Chepstow Review, which closed down a couple of months later.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
