All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

Inverurie Herald

The Inverurie Herald is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the Aberdeenshire town of Inverurie and the surrounding area, including the towns of Oldmeldrum and Kintore.

It was founded in 1989 and is published by Angus County Press Ltd, a division of nationwide publishers of regional newspapers Johnston Press. Until recently it was a local edition of the Deeside Piper series of newspapers (which also includes the Donside Piper), but it’s now associated with the Ellon Times. It used to have its own editorial offices in Inverurie, but moved to Ellon at the end of 2013. Nevertheless, it still retains its own website.

It comes out on Fridays.
