East Riding Advertiser (defunct)
It was published by Mail News & Media, publishers of the Hull Daily Mail. Mail News & Media are part of Northcliffe Media, which at the time was the Daily Mail & General Trust‘s regional and local newspaper publishing division.
It was part of a group of Advertiser freesheets, with editorial offices in Hull. It started life in 1993 as the Haltemprice Advertiser, and was then known from 1995 as the Haltemprice and East Yorkshire Advertiser before settling on the name above some time after 2003.
It had no website of its own; the link below is to Northcliffe’s thisiseastriding.co.uk portal website for the area.
It came out on Wednesdays.
In mid-February 2012 it was merged with the Hull Advertiser (previously the East Hull & Holderness Advertiser) to form the Hull & East Riding Advertiser.
