Your Leek Paper (defunct)

Your Leek Paper was a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in the town of Leek, north-eastern Staffordshire and western Derbyshire, including the towns of Biddulph, Cheadle, Ashbourne and Buxton.

It was set up in 2003 by seven former staff members of the town’s existing weekly newspaper the Leek Post & Times, when that title was taken over by Northcliffe Media. It was taken over in 2006 by Staffordshire Newspapers, a division of Iliffe News & Media. The editorial offices were in Ashbourne and were shared with the Ashbourne News Telegraph.

It came out on Wednesdays. A e-edition (by paid subscription) was also available via email and on the website.

In November 2011 Iliffe incorporated Your Leek Paper into the Leek Post & Times, which they had acquired from Northcliffe five months earlier.
