Windsor Advertiser

The Windsor Advertiser is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in and around the town of Windsor and throughout the Royal Borough of Windsor in eastern Berkshire.

It’s owned by an independent trust, set up by Maidenhead Advertiser proprietor Louis Baylis in 1962; the publication company is Baylis Media Ltd.

It’s a relatively new foundation: it was launched in September 2008 as a counterpart to the Maidenhead Advertiser and as a paid-for sister newspaper to the Windsor, Ascot & Eton Express. It’s by far the smallest of the Advertiser series in circulation terms, with only a few hundred copies of each issue produced.

It’s produced in Maidenhead, although there are staff based in Windsor.

It comes out on Thursdays.
