Your Canterbury (defunct)

Your Canterbury was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the cathedral city of Canterbury and the district of the City of Canterbury in north-eastern Kent, including the coastal towns of Whitstable and Herne Bay.

It was founded in 2007. It was published by KOS Media, who also publish the Kent on Sunday and Kent on Saturday weeklies for the whole of the county of Kent. The main editorial offices were in Smeeth near Ashford.

In June 2010 the Norwich-based Archant group acquired KOS Media outright, having had a minority shareholding since 2005.

Until January 2011 it was delivered direct to homes and distributed through various other outlets, as well as being available as an e-edition via the website or by email. However, in that month the Your… series went digital-only. It ceased publication altogether in December 2012, although the websites were still maintained as of May 2013.

It came out on Wednesdays.
