Harborough Herald & Post (defunct)

The Harborough Herald & Post was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper for the borough of Market Harborough in southern Leicestershire, and for surrounding villages in southern Leicestershire and across the county boundary in north-western Northamptonshire, including Marston Trussell, Great Oxendon, Rockingham and Hallaton.

It was launched in 1983 as the Harborough Post but became the Harborough Herald & Post in 1989. It was one of a series of seven Herald & Post freesheets for Northamptonshire. Up until 2008 they were published by the Northants Herald & Post Group, a division of nationwide newspaper publishing group Trinity Mirror, but they were then taken over by LSN Media, part of the Iliffe News & Media group. Iliffe ceased publication of the Harborough edition of the Herald & Post in January 2009.

It came out on Fridays, with a free e-edition on the website.
