Lincolnshire Citizen (defunct)

The Lincolnshire Citizen was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to households across much of southern and eastern Lincolnshire (the Parts of Holland and the eastern Parts of Lindsey) around the towns of Boston, Louth, Skegness, Sleaford and Spalding.

It was published in five editions by East Midlands Newspapers, part of the nationwide group of regional and local newspaper publishers, Johnston Press, as a companion to their various paid-for weekly titles for the area: the Boston Standard, the Louth Leader, the Skegness Standard, the Sleaford Standard, the Spalding Guardian and the Lincolnshire Free Press.

It came out on Fridays. It had no website of its own; its web presence was through the site of the local paid-for newspaper for each area.

Although a revamp was reportedly in the offing in October 2012, it appears to have ceased publication since then.
