Loughborough Echo

The Loughborough Echo is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in and around the north Leicestershire town of Loughborough in the Borough of Charnwood, in a circulation area that includes the smaller towns of Kegworth, Castle Donington, Barrow-upon-Soar, Sileby, Quorn and Mountsorrel.

It was founded in 1891. It’s published by Trinity Mirror Midlands, a division of the nationwide Trinity Mirror newspaper publishing group. The editorial offices are in Loughborough.

There’s a local sub-edition for Shepshed; another for Coalville, the Coalville Echo, ceased publication in July 2009.

It comes out on Thursdays.
