Mablethorpe & Sutton Leader

The Mablethorpe & Sutton Leader is a local sub-edition of the weekly tabloid newspaper the Louth Leader, sold in the Lincolnshire coastal resort towns of Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea.

It was established in 2002 as the result of a merger of two earlier titles, the Mablethorpe & Sutton Standard (an edition of the far older Lincolnshire Standard first created in 1956 and then spun off as the Alford, Mablethorpe & Sutton Standard in 1989) and the Mablethorpe & Sutton News, launched in 1993. It’s published by East Midlands Newspapers, part of the Johnston Press group of regional newspapers, from editorial offices in Louth.

As you’d expect from a sub-edition, it has no website of its own: the link below is to the Louth Leader‘s website.

It comes out on Wednesdays.
