Bootle Champion
The Bootle Champion is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed free to homes in and around the town of Bootle at the southern end of the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in Merseyside.
It was launched in January 2012 and is the seventh title in order of foundation in a series of Champion newspapers distributed in the North Merseyside/West Lancashire area, published by Waypride Ltd trading as Champion Newspapers. All share a single website (which received a facelift in 2011), and an editorial office in Southport.
It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition’s also available free through the website.
