Formby Champion
The Formby Champion is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in the town of Formby in the Merseyside Metropolitan Borough of Sefton.
It’s one of the earliest-launched titles in a series of published Champion newspapers published by Waypride Limited, trading as the Champion Media Group, for northern Merseyside and the Borough of West Lancashire. The series was founded in 1994 and is led by the Southport Champion; all share a single website (which received a facelift in 2011), and an editorial office in Southport.
It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition can also be found on the website.
