Uckfield & Heathfield Leader (defunct)
The Uckfield & Heathfield Leader was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in the towns of Uckfield and Heathfield in the Wealden District of East Sussex, as well as the villages of Buxted, Framfield, Maresfield and Ridgewood near Uckfield.
It was founded in 2003 as the newest of several Leader freesheets published by Newsquest (Sussex), the Brighton-based local division of the Newsquest media group.
The editorial offices were in Horsham. As with the other Leader newspapers, its web presence was through the website of The Argus, the major evening newspaper for Brighton and Sussex.
It came out on Thursdays.
It appears to have closed down in 2011.
