Your Maidstone (defunct)

Your Maidstone was a freesheet tabloid newspaper for the county town of Kent, Maidstone, and surrounding towns and villages in the Borough of Maidstone and the Borough of Tonbridge and Malling, including Aylesford, Bearsted, Coxheath, Ditton and West Malling.

It was launched in 2007. It was published by KOS Media, who also publish the Kent on Sunday and Kent on Saturday weeklies for the whole of the county of Kent. The main editorial offices were in Smeeth near Ashford.

In June 2010 the Norwich-based Archant group acquired KOS Media outright, having had a minority shareholding since 2005.

Initially it was delivered direct to households and distributed through pickup points, and was also available as an e-edition free online or by email. From January 2011 the print version ceased publication. The e-edition followed suit in December 2012, although the website is still kept updated.

It came out on Wednesdays.
