Camborne & Redruth Packet (defunct)

The Camborne & Redruth Packet was a mostly freesheet weekly tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in the mid-Cornwall conurbation of Camborne, Redruth and Pool, in the former Kerrier District of Cornwall.

It was published by Newsquest (South West) and was one of a series of Packet newspapers of which the Falmouth & Penryn Packet was (and is) the lead title; the Camborne and Redruth edition was established in 1955. All shared editorial offices in Falmouth and a common website with local pages.

Although it was primarily a freesheet, a small number of copies were sold through the news trade.

It came out on Wednesdays.

It merged with the Truro Packet in January 2013 to form a single freesheet for Mid Cornwall entitled simply The Packet.
