Chard Advertiser (defunct)
The Chard Advertiser was a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper delivered to homes in and around the South Somerset town of Chard.
It was founded in 1999 and was part of the Pulman’s group of newspapers published by Tindle Newspapers for East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset. The editorial offices were in Yeovil.
It came out on Wednesdays.
It had closed down by April 2012, when Tindle Newspapers took over Lyme Media & Events, publishers of the Weekender series of freesheets for South Somerset.
