Malvern Observer

The Malvern Observer (“incorporating the Ledbury Observer“) is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to households in and around the Malverns in south-western Worcestershire and eastern Herefordshire.

It was launched in October 2013, at the same time that the Worcester Standard was rebranded as the Worcester Observer.

It’s part of the Redditch-based Bullivant Media group of freesheets, founded by Chris and Pat Bullivant in 1989 as Observer Standard Newspapers. OSN went into official administration in March 2009 while a buyer or buyers were sought for the group’s titles; the Bullivants relaunched their business and succeeded in rescuing most of their titles from closure.

The editorial offices are in Redditch, but there’s a local phone number to call.

It comes out on Wednesdays. An e-edition’s available free on the website.
