Rugby Observer
The Rugby Observer is a weekly freesheet tabloid newspaper distributed to homes in the Borough of Rugby in eastern Warwickshire, plus a few in Long Buckby and Daventry in neighbouring Northamptonshire.
It was founded in 1991. It’s published by Redditch-based Bullivant Media, an independent publisher founded by Chris and Pat Bullivant with several titles across the central and southern West Midlands region.
The editorial offices were originally in Rugby and shared with a sub-edition, the Lutterworth Observer (which it has now effectively absorbed), but have since moved to Leamington Spa along with several other Bullivant Media titles for the south-eastern West Midlands Metropolitan County and Warwickshire.
It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available free from the website.
