Stratford Herald

The Stratford Herald (to give it its colloquial title – formally it’s the Stratford-upon-Avon Herald) is a weekly broadsheet newspaper sold in and around the Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon, covering an area bounded roughly by the outskirts of Solihull to the north, Warwick, Banbury and the M 40 to the east, the Vale of Evesham and the Cotswolds to the south, and Redditch to the west.

It was founded in 1860. It’s remained an independent family-owned newspaper ever since its foundation, and is published by George Boyden & Son Ltd.

There’s a companion weekly freesheet tabloid, the Midweek.

It comes out on Thursdays. An e-edition’s also available on the website by paid subscription.
