Calderdale News (defunct)
The Calderdale News was a weekly freesheet tabloid for the town of Halifax and surrounding parts of the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire.
It was founded in 1984 and published by Halifax Courier Ltd, who also publish the Halifax Courier (whose Halifax-based editorial offices and website the Calderdale News shared). The company’s a branch of the Johnston Press group of regional newspaper publishers across the UK.
It came out on Thursdays. It ceased publication in 2011.
