All about the United Kingdom’s national, regional and local press

Forfar Dispatch

The Forfar Dispatch is a weekly tabloid newspaper sold in and around the town of Forfar in Angus, in a circulation area that takes in the smaller towns of Glamis, Charleston, Douglastown, Letham, Aberlemno, Tannadice and the rather more far-flung Glen Clova.

It was founded in 1884. It’s published by Angus County Press, which is part of the Johnston Press nationwide group of regional and local newspapers. The editorial offices are in Forfar and are shared with the Kirriemuir Herald, the other title in a two-title series of which the Dispatch is the main paper.

It comes out on Thursdays.
